A reclaimed oak look at a traditional width
Historic Oak prints a weathered, reclaimed oak with knots and worn figure, embossed in register. At 6 3/8 inches it is narrower than the other Restoration patterns we carry, which suits older houses where very wide planks can look out of place. Mannington draws 12 unique planks at low variation. Ash is the golden-brown color and Charcoal the dark brown.
Next to original floors
Takoma Park bungalows and Capitol Hill rowhouses often still have narrow original oak strip floors in the front rooms, and a 6 3/8 inch plank sits more comfortably beside them than a 9 inch one. Being straight about materials
Historic Oak is laminate on a 12 mm HDF core pressed from wood fiber, not vinyl. Mannington lists recycled content on the product sheet and reports over 70% post-industrial recycled content across its laminate floors. It is FloorScore certified, made in Vietnam, approved for walls and rated waterproof by Mannington with SpillShield Plus.

Narrow planks suit the scale of older homes and sit comfortably beside original strip oak. Historic Oak is 6 3/8 inches wide, compared with 7 9/16 inches for most Restoration patterns.
