Linoleum you can lay like tile
Marmoleum Modular takes the same linoleum as sheet Marmoleum and cuts it into tiles and planks. Squares, rectangles and 10 x 40 inch planks can be mixed into herringbone, stripes, borders and color blocks that would take a lot of cutting in sheet goods. It suits kitchens and kids' rooms where a pattern is part of the design, and small commercial spaces that want a durable floor with character.
Material facts
Forbo reports that current Modular products contain up to 48% recycled content and up to 92% natural raw materials, and are PVC- and phthalate-free. The main ingredients are linseed oil, rosin, wood flour and limestone, finished at the factory with Topshield pro.
Installation
Modular is glued down, not clicked. At 2.5 mm, it needs the same smooth, flat, moisture-tested subfloor as sheet. Patterns use more material and more layout time, so we quote from a drawing of the room. Prefer a floating floor? Compare Cinch Loc Seal squares, which click together over most existing floors.

Can I mix Marmoleum Modular sizes in one floor?
Yes. The tiles and planks share a thickness, so formats and colors can be combined in one pattern. We draw the layout before ordering so quantities are right.
