A narrower plank in oak and walnut
Lakehouse Luxe shares the 12 mm COREtec build of Coastal Luxe, a foamed WPC core with 3 mm of cork attached and a 30 mil wear layer, in a 7 x 72 inch plank. The colors are oak and walnut visuals, from pale greige Harvest Haze Oak through Pearlwood Walnut and Canyon Oak to the warm brown of Whiskey Oak, plus Deep Saddle Walnut.
Why 7 inches
A 7 inch plank sits between the narrow strips of older oak floors and today's wide planks. It suits traditional rooms, such as those in the center-hall colonials of Chevy Chase and Kensington, where a 9 inch plank can look out of scale, while the 72 inch length still keeps end joints few.
Being straight about materials
Lakehouse Luxe is vinyl and contains PVC. The collection is GREENGUARD Gold certified for low chemical emissions, and cork, a bark that regrows after harvest, stands in for a synthetic foam pad. For no PVC at all, see PVC-free flooring.

Is Lakehouse Luxe real oak or walnut?
No. The oak and walnut looks are printed designs on a vinyl plank. The cork on the back is real cork.
Can Lakehouse Luxe go in a basement?
Yes, the core is waterproof. We test the slab for moisture first and use a vapor barrier wherever COREtec's installation guide calls for one.
