Three species in one floor
Lineage blends European white oak, hickory and maple into a single pattern, and Mannington gives each species its own embossed texture. That is why the variation is graded high: from board to board the floor shifts between the three, across 15 unique plank visuals, so a large room does not settle into an obvious repeat. Mannington lists four colors: Veranda, Manor, Cellar and Hearthside.
A shorter plank for broken-up rooms
At 7 x 60 inches, Lineage is a little narrower and shorter than the 8 x 72 inch ADURA APEX planks. Shorter boards suit rooms interrupted by islands, fireplaces and doorways, where a six-foot plank would be cut down anyway. The build is the ADURA APEX standard: an 8 mm waterproof HydroLoc WPC core, an attached pad, a 20 mil aluminum oxide wear layer and a CraftedEdge bevel.
Being straight about materials
Lineage is luxury vinyl and contains PVC. It is FloorScore certified for indoor emissions, made in Vietnam, and Mannington's sheet lists no recycled content. If avoiding PVC matters more to you than the look, start with our PVC-free flooring.
Where it fits
Kitchens with an island, family rooms, and finished basements once the slab passes a moisture test. The center-hall colonials of Bethesda and Chevy Chase have smaller, separate rooms, where a 60 inch plank keeps the scale of the original floors.
